Ready to begin a global adventure?
Follow Fritz James, the founder of Corporate Image as he drives a 1929 Model A Ford in the Peking to Paris Rally.
Three years ago, Hans Berkoltz a binder from Switzerland, told Fritz about an international rally for vintage cars that starts in Peking and ends 37 days later in Paris. After asking long time friend Lang Wightman if he would be interested, Fritz started looking for a car. Several months later, they selected a 1929 Model A Ford. For the past 2 years the car has been rebuilt and prepared for the rally.
This is an adventure of a lifetime and if you would like to check in every once in a while you can by going to the blog pekingparis2010. The website is now live if you would like to know more. Car 19 is sponsoring the cause of international literacy. Fritz and Lang saw an opportunity to create awareness for this global cause to help eliminate poverty.
Share this great adventure as they motor through the Gobe Desert, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Italy and France. For more about the history of the rally, you can go to www.pekingparis.com.
